Anna Hackstein is Managing Director of Industrieverband Garten (IVG) e.V. / Industry Garden Association since September 2017. The business administration graduate has been working for the IVG since 2015 and was initially responsible for the Marketing and Communications section, before taking over responsibility for managing the association originally on a provisional basis in the spring of 2017. The association currently unites just under 140 member-companies of the garden industry and its core competences lie in providing information, networking, PR work and lobbying.

TAG DES GARTENS (The Garden Day) is taking place for the third time in the Rheinpark in Cologne on 2 and 3 September 2017. It is the accompanying public event to the international garden fair, spoga+gafa, and is staged by Koelnmesse in cooperation with the Industry Garden Association e.V. (IVG).

Barbecue market Germany: In particular the demand for accessories is growing

The barbecue market in Germany is indeed showing further growth, however the industry is in the meantime miles away from the two-digit increase it was able to achieve in past years. This is shown by the “Industry focus on barbecuing” recently published by the Institute für Handelsforschung GmbH (IFH Köln/Institute for trade research) that was compiled in collaboration with the Industry Garden Association (IVG) e.V.
