The Italian design company Emu invented the classic Siesta – a relaxing armchair with a simple design – in 1970. Today Emu is presenting Snooze: an evolution of the same mechanism.

Larger dimensions and a comfortable shape are the main features of Snooze. The armchair can be regulated in two positions – reading and resting – thanks to a simple yet original mechanism on the armrests. The frame is made of tubular steel with a diameter of 32 mm and a width of 1.5 mm. It comes in five different colours that match the six variations of the cloth.

Together with the deck chair, EMU introduces a footrest in the same style. New in this collection is also the folding chair which was also presented at spoga+gafa 2013.
