Haskell: Outdoor Design with Ecological Awareness

The garden furniture from California based company Haskell is not just about smart and simple designs, it’s also about sustainability. The use of eco-based and regional materials is crucial to them.

For their furnishings Haskell uses stainless steel that is domestically sourced and up to 85% recycled. Among other elements they are using to manufacture their chairs, tables and benches, are Bella-Dura™, a fiber that begins as a by-product of post-industrial waste and is fully recyclable, and GreenShield™, a special finish, designed from established nanotechnology principles to use benign materials efficiently, eliminate waste and minimize the consumption of energy.

Repast is the flagship of Haskell’s summer collection, an original dining solution tailored for both friends and family, inside or out. The pieces are tough, weather-resistant and constructed for a lifetime. The heavy, stout seating wood of table, bench and chair is mated with hand cut, bent, and welded steel units powder coated in a white finish. All hidden fasteners are made from stainless steel. The hand fabricated dining pieces pay homage to classic designs of the past while displaying a strongly original combination of color and material.
