The Boulevard of ideas will once again be presenting the innovations of the exhibitors and current trend themes at spoga+gafa 2018. A combination between an exhibition and an event with plenty of manifold impulses awaits the visitors of the international garden trade fair. In the scope of the POS Green Solution Islands, one of the focuses is once again being placed on the design of salesrooms.

As the starting point of the Boulevard of ideas in Passage 4/5 and Hall 5.1, spoga+gafa is presenting the new products of selected exhibitors. The “Product Innovations” exhibition of the trade fair showcases a large variety of new products across all of the product sections. In various exhibition scenarios exciting new developments will be presented along the entire length of the Boulevard. Here, the trade visitors will receive a concise overview as well as manifold impulses.

POS Green Solution Islands

The POS Green Solution Islands are a further highlight on the Boulevard of ideas. The theme islands presented green trends at the point of sale last year already – and the new format met with great interest among the trade visitors and exhibitors. spoga+gafa 2018 is continuing on from this success: The POS Green Solution Islands will be offering inspiration and clear examples of implementation for garden centres and DIY stores at the current edition of the international garden trade fair as well. Hereby, the special zones each pick up on a relevant theme of how the end user can design his own four walls, or rather his garden. As such, they provide a direct buying impulse for the customer and above all real added value for the trade visitors of the trade fair.

Trade highlights at a glance

This year’s themes of the POS Green Solution Islands are ‘Grab & Go’, ‘Living with plants’, ‘Homemade’, ‘Upside Down’ and ‘The Plant hunter’. The theme islands are created in such a way that they can be perfectly integrated into the normal campaign areas of garden centres and DIY stores. In this way, cross-selling and curated shopping meet up on the special zones: A wide range of products from different segments are combined here to provide a harmonious overall picture. This enables the end user to experience the highlights from all sections of the trade at a glance – and to see directly how he can combine these perfectly at home.

Forum Garden Café with Taspo Talks

The Forum Garden Café will once again be the central meeting point on the Boulevard of ideas again. In addition to a nice cup of coffee, culinary delights as well as things worth reading and listening to are available here. Everything revolves around the competent contents for the green industry here. Alongside the well-known and popular Taspo Talks that are organised in cooperation with the magazine TASPO, a row of lectures will also be offered. Featuring on the theme clusters “Specialised trade”, “Digitalisation”, “Trends” and “Substrates and Fertilisers” they hit the nerve of the industry. Visitors will be given the opportunity to engage in a professional exchange and can inform themselves about current new products.
